How to Run the Backtest

01
Install the Demo

Copy XAUUSD_BuyBot_v7_DEMO.mq5 to your MT5 Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts directory.

Compile

Open MetaEditor (F4), find the file in Navigator, press F7 to compile. Must show 0 errors.

Open Strategy Tester

In MT5, press Ctrl+R to open the Strategy Tester. Select XAUUSD_BuyBot_v7_DEMO as the Expert.

Configure

Set Symbol: XAUUSD, Timeframe: M1, Model: Every tick. Set your date range (e.g. 3–6 months). Initial deposit: $1,000.

Run & Analyse

Click Start. Review the Results, Graph (equity curve), and Report tabs. Compare with our published backtest.
